Create a Community Health Action Team

Since 2002, the Community Health Improvement Partnership, or CHIP, has supported Community Health Action Teams in Sarasota County. The CHAT meet monthly to study local health issues, learn from local health experts and agencies, and develop and implement projects aimed at improving the health of the community.  Active CHATs include currently include Englewood, Newtown, North Port, and LOVN (Laurel/Osprey/Nokomis/Venice).

Interested being part of a grassroots effort to create health? Join a CHAT, or start a new CHAT if one doesn't already exist in your area.
