HP Participants

The Health Provocateur Project (HP) provides systems-level planning to complement CHIP's grass-roots, community-based activities. 

The purpose of this group is to maximize the effectiveness of the local health system in addressing the broad health needs of the population in Sarasota, Charlotte, and DeSoto Counties.

HP convenes major institutional stakeholders of the local health care system, including hospital CEOs and health department administrators. Provocative ideas challenging prevailing thinking are encouraged in a trusting and supportive environment.  National consultants and health care systems experts will also lend their voices to HP's efforts.

The Director and Facilitator guide the HP process, striving for new, effective approaches to improving the health care system of delivery and funding.
